The world economic outlook of the IMF estimates for 2016 is 3.1% and for 2017 is 3.17%. The growth in the United States, Europe, and Japan remains dismal.

Emerging markets are expected to lift the economic growth projected to rise to 4.2% after five years of consecutive decline.
