Official informing of the visit at the Smithsonian Museum in Washington DC to the Art of Koran exhibit on February 14, 2017 at 1:25 pm EST.

Ms Monica Dorhoi informs you of her upcoming official function at the Smithsonian Museum to Art of Quran.

The exhibit encompasses the oldest and the most prestigious copies of the Holy Quran that are still housed in the Middleast Instituions to this day.

The quorum and the different works are between 1000 and 1700.

Most notable works on display:

Single-volume Qur’an sutras 19:76-20:26. Calligrapher Yaqut al-Musta’simi. Iraq. Bhagdad, Is-Khanid period, 1286-87. Museum of Turkish and Islamic Arts, TIEM 507, ff. 124b-125a.
