Official statement and extended elaboration on my Service to the United States of America

Official statement of Monica Dorhoi, Antifraud and anticorruption expert, now Vice President Risk Management and International Government Relations who has worked at the World Bank since 2006. Currently, Monica Dorhoi is in sabbatical at George Washington University Business School (until June 2017). Statement is on January 4, 2017 at 9:11 am EST.

“All my life I have served. I will serve now and I continue to serve the American government in every capacity that I can. As an American citizen it is an honor to serve, as an American political scientist it is a duty to think and as a worker to build a great country as America is today”.

“In last decade, we fought in the trenches. Without a doubt it was not easy and we lost many to other causes. But we are here and continue to stay awake at the helm of the Government for the people, by the people and with a cause at hand: to make it work.”

“We have not stopped believing that it was possible for this and next generation to be the best they can be. We never been more proud of all the Presidents of the World Bank Group in achieving that purpose. So God help us to continue as such.”

Speaker bio

Dr. A. Monica Dorhoi is an American political economist and anticorruption expert who has worked at the World Bank since 2006 is celebrating in 2015 a decade since she was awarded PhD degree in anticorruption and economics. Her award winning PhD dissertation is called [precise quote]:

“Anti-corruption Strategies and Fighting Corruption in Central and Eastern Europe, Michigan State University, Ph.D. Dissertation, July 2005.”
